This page describes the current version of Get PDF Ready. Its document tools run in your browser.
Documents and photos you select
The tool reads selected files on your device to combine, split, convert and preview them. Its document-processing code does not upload those files to a server. Filenames, page selections and generated results are held in the working page; the tool does not intentionally save them in browser local storage or a server database.
Closing or reloading the tool clears its working list. This is not a secure-erasure guarantee for your browser or device. Files you download remain in your device's download location until you remove them. Your original files are unchanged.
Loading the website
Browser-based processing does not mean the website makes no network connections. Your browser requests the site's pages, code and sample files from its hosting service. This website is hosted by Namecheap.
The hosting service may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request details, to operate and secure the website. For information about the hosting provider's data practices, see the Namecheap Privacy Policy.
Advertising and cookies
Get PDF Ready uses Google AdSense technology for advertising and consent messaging. Ads can help cover the cost of providing the tool. Ads are displayed only when enabled and permitted by Google; adding this technology does not mean that an ad appears on every visit.
Google and other advertising providers use cookies to select ads based on previous visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow it and its partners to personalize ads using that browsing activity, subject to your consent and settings. Other participating advertising networks may also use their own cookies.
When Google services load, your browser sends technical information such as your IP address and the address of the page you visit. Google may use this information to deliver and measure services, prevent fraud and, where permitted, personalize advertising. See how Google uses information from partner websites and Google's advertising information.
The document-processing code does not send your selected documents, photos, filenames or extracted document contents to Google for advertising.
Your advertising choices
We use Google's consent management platform for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. When the consent message is displayed, you can choose Consent, Do not consent or Manage options. Manage options provides details about participating providers, their policies and the purposes for which information is used.
Where available, use the Privacy and cookie settings link at the bottom of the page to reopen the message and change or withdraw your choice. If the message or link is unavailable, you can contact us through the Contact page.
You can also turn off personalized Google advertising through Google Ad Settings. For choices offered by other participating providers, visit YourAdChoices. These controls have different scopes and do not replace this website's consent choices. Your browser settings also let you manage or delete cookies.
Declining personalized advertising does not prevent you from using the PDF tools. Advertising services may still process some technical information for purposes such as security and fraud prevention, subject to applicable requirements.
Analytics and other cookies
We have not installed Google Analytics or a separate site analytics tracker. Google AdSense may provide advertising reports. The hosting service and contact-form services may use cookies or related technologies for operation and security, as described below and in their privacy policies.
Feedback through the contact form
The contact form is separate from the document tools. When you select Send message, the email address and message you enter are sent to FormSubmit, which processes the submission and forwards it to our inbox. No PDF or photo from the tool is attached. Please do not include sensitive document contents in your message.
FormSubmit uses a spam check that may involve Google reCAPTCHA and may process technical information and cookies. These services have their own privacy practices: FormSubmit Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
FormSubmit states that it retains form submissions for 30 days in its submission archive. Forwarded messages remain in the receiving email service separately. See the FormSubmit documentation for its current retention information.
Feedback in our inbox
If you use the alternative email link, your email provider and the receiving email service process that message. The recipient receives your address and whatever you choose to include. Feedback is used to respond to your enquiry and investigate or improve the tool. Please avoid sending sensitive documents.
You can request deletion of correspondence by emailing the same address. Email services may retain backups or records under their own policies.
